OVA Art Competitions

Each month, the Online Visual Artist Community holds a themed Art Competition. The top 3 winners are chosen by vote (by registered members only). The winning images are displayed on all OVA pages for a month, along with a link to the artists' websites. The first-place winning artwork is also featured in the OVA Winners Gallery.

Why are OVA competitions different?

Because the decisions are made by your fellow OVA member artists. No behind-the-scenes judges, no politics, no guest votes or image ratings to artificially influence the results.

Just your fellow artists voting on the images we feel are the best and that fit the theme.

If there is a tie, we hold a runoff vote. If there is another tie, there is another vote. So OVA competition results are open, transparent and withstand scrutiny. And are decided by experts.

OVA Galleries

We have exhibition galleries for member artwork.

All members except OVA Rookies are entitled to upload work into the member exhibition galleries.

PRO members are entitled to their own galleries and subgalleries, with additional features such as bulk uploads, etc.
